Welcome New Teacher Jennifer Ohlsson

Jennifer is a recent graduate of Oakland University. She is currently teaching 3rd grade this year. Before graduating, she graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy, which is where her love for Catholic education began.
What inspires Jennifer as a teacher is having Christ in her heart as she works. She recognizes that her greatest purpose is helping her students grow closer to Him. Jennifer states "This makes me happy to walk into my classroom every morning". She is excited to be part of the Lakers community. Jennifer states: "I've already been shown so much kindness by teachers and parents, which I'm very thankful for."Jennifer is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology and Christian Ministry at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. She is the youngest of five children and has 6 nieces and a nephew.
Running is a great passion of hers, and she ran D1 NCAA Cross Country and Track & Field for Oakland University. Jennifer is currently training to run her first marathon. Jennifer is from Lake Orion and enjoys spending time out on the lake with her family and friends.
