Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School honors Weiping Zhang, known to our staff and students as Paul, one of our international students of the Class of 2020. We turn to Dr. Andrews, TOEFL and citizenship teacher, for more:
“One of Paul’s greatest strengths is that he does not let difficult situations or obstacles dictate his decisions or negatively affect his life. His dream is to become a business owner, just like his father, and recognizing the challenges that come with such a goal, Paul does not shirk away from them.
Paul’s interests are diverse which is characteristic of a well-rounded person. His favorite subject is World History because he likes delving into past events and understanding the whys of history. He is an active person and enjoys biking and ice skating. He also likes anime and participates in conferences to share his enjoyment with other fans.”
