Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School celebrates the newest Laker of the Class of 2020, Sally Artz. We pass it off to Ms. Zaleski, Sally’s favorite teacher for more:
“While Sally is a first-year Laker, starting here as a senior, it only took a couple of days for her to fit right in and be embraced by our tight-knit Laker community. Many people might not know that Sally comes from a military family. I was thrilled to have Sally in multiple classes this year, and have seen what a bright and wonderful person she is, how kind she is and what a great sense of humor she has. I could see how wonderful she was from the moment I met her on the first day of classes.
While attending Lakes for only a short time, Sally was a member of the bowling team. She also has great advice for upcoming underclassmen, “Don’t try to please other people. Be yourself, and you will attract the right people.” One of her favorite things about Lakes is the small size of the community.
Upon graduation from Lakes, Sally will be attending Adrian College to study business. And while she is moving on to being a Bulldog at Adrian, she will always truly be a Laker at heart.”
