It’s elementary, my dear Watson, that you should come to the OLL Fall Drama production.
Students are working hard preparing for our fall production Sherlock Holmes and the Spinsters of Blackmead. For this year’s production, we have our middle school and high school students involved as cast on stage as well as behind the scenes. Off stage, students are responsible for running our lights and sound boards, working on sets, and also helping with costumes.
“I’ve always loved drama, so getting a chance to be in plays and musicals are a great experience for me. It’s helped me develop a stage presence and a voice I didn’t think I had before!” says Hanna Stalker, who plays Dr. Watson, when asked about her drama experience here at Lakes.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, November 10 at 7 p.m., Saturday, November 11 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students and seniors and are available at the door.
See if you can solve the mystery – come and enjoy the show!
