Our Lady of the Lakes Varsity Volleyball took home the Mt. Morris Varsity Tournament Gold Division trophy over the weekend. The girls came out of pool play in 1st place over Imlay City, Pellston, Mio and Cass City. The Lakers then played Bad Axe in the semifinals and won 25-20, 25-21.

In the final, they went three games against Yale (16-25, 25-21, 15-11) and walked away with the victory! Coach Stephanie Swearingen had this to say about the final match up: “The girls fought hard for this win. They put maximum effort in every point to take game three from Yale, and I’m really proud of them.”
