The Our Lady of the Lakes Cross Country Team may be small in numbers, but at the Genesee Cross Country invite on Saturday September 7, they showed they are still a force to be reckoned with. For the boy’s team, Noah Rodriguez medaled with a 8th place finish. Also, achieving a personal best were Chris Cempura with a time of 20:59, Kevin Conway with a time of 20:22, Keldon Koshorek with a time of 23:52 and Hayden Fulford with a time of 26:54.
The girl’s team Bailee Pfahl medaled with a 4th place finish. Also, achieving a personal best was Gracie McCarthy with a time of 26:19 and medaled with a 8th place.
Great job by all the runners! Their next meet is Saturday, September 14, at the 52nd Annual Holly/Duane Raffin Festival of Race at Springfield Oaks County Park (Oakland County Fairgrounds in Davisburg). Girls will be running at 9:00 a.m., with the Boys starting at 10:40 a.m.
