Our international students celebrated the Lunar New Year with many of our homegrown Lakers! Together we celebrated the beginning of the Year of the Rooster.

Students gave a presentation explaining customs for the New Year celebration. They taught willing students how to write their name in Chinese. They also cooked Chinese dumplings and even gave out the traditional red “lucky money” envelopes to our Lakers.

Lunar New Year is a very special holiday throughout Asia and our international students were thankful to share their culture with fellow Lakers!
