The Our Lady of the Lakes CYO Varsity Football team began their season with a 12 – 0 win over Holy Family. It was a defensive gem, as the Lakers held their opponents to 27 yards of total offense and only one first down.

“It was a total team effort, but Joey Ross and Robert Hoffman were monsters on defense,” said Head Coach Chris Mersino after the game.

The Lakers begin conference play this Friday night at 6:00 p.m. at Wisner Stadium when they host the Ann Arbor Saints.
