Purpose of the LMDC
The Moms and Dads Club at Our Lady of the Lakes PK-12 Catholic School serves as a vital conduit between the school community and its administration, fostering a collaborative environment to nurture the holistic growth of our students. Through dedicated volunteerism and thoughtful event planning, the LMDC aims to enhance the safety, Catholicity, and fun educational experiences that foster a vibrant school community. While neither the LMDC or its School Advisory Committee is a fundraising entity, it is committed to judiciously supporting the school's endeavors and respecting the final decision-making authority of the pastor and the school administration. Together, the OLL community will strive to cultivate a nurturing, faith-filled environment where every student can flourish.
Our Lady of the Lakes maintains a curated fundraising schedule approved by the Pastor and school administration, that is designed to maximize the use of our resources, amplify impact on school advancement, and limit burden on school families. Our current fundraising schedule consists of 8-10 major events that are designed and scheduled to meet the criteria above to the best of our ability. These and any other funds raised are spent at the discretion of the Pastor of Our Lady of the Lakes or his designee. The LMDC is not responsible for fundraising and should focus a majority of efforts on supporting OLL through volunteerism.

Recruit and organize parent volunteers to plan and execute events for our students and teachers as support for school endavors, such as recruitment and spirit related events.
Recruit and solicit members of the school, Parish, and local community who are prepared to support OLL through an extension of their personal or professional interests. Will coordinate with school administration to identify areas of need that can be fulfilled through donation of labor, items, or services.
Elementary
Recruit and organize parent volunteers, to plan and execute fun events for our elementary school community.
Middle School and High School
Recruit and organize parent volunteers to plan and execute fun events and/or support planned school events for our middle and high school students.
Recruit parents who are prepared to be an extension of the school's athletic operations. This is a volunteer arm of the OLL athletic department, and will work to accomplish goals set by Our Lady of the Lakes administration.
This committee is by invitation only. Professional experience required. Will meet as needed to evaluate current school safety needs, as well as liaison with local police, fire, and other agencies to ensure that Our Lady of the Lakes is a safe learning environment for our students.
