Our Lady of the Lakes Extended School Hours (ESH) Program is a licensed before and after school care program. Due to the growth of our program, we now utilize both the elementary basement and the annex building adjacent to the school, closest to the Cambrook entrance. Designed to meet the needs of our families, our goal at ESH is to provide safe, affordable, high quality care for OLL students in PK – Grade 8. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring that every student has a fun and enjoyable time with us.
ESH is available every day that there is school. Before school care is available starting at 7:00 a.m. We close promptly at 6:00 p.m. We are not open during school breaks, snow days or any other days when the school is closed. We are open on half days.
Open registration for the current school year is available until mid-September. The non-refundable registration fee for each school year is $100.00 per child. The registration fee must be paid before a student may use the program.
The cost for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten is $7 per child per hour, charged by the half hour of use.
The cost for students in Grades 1 through 8 is $6 per child per hour, charged by the half hour of use.
Billing will be through the FACTS system.
ESH provides both morning and afternoon snacks. These are only snacks and are not a replacement for meals. Students are expected to eat breakfast before attending ESH.
ESH is made available on select Haf Days. When available, a separate registration will be sent to registered families. Students must bring a lunch and play clothes for the afternoon.
ESH is not a preschool daycare center. Our program combines all students, Pre-Kindergarten through grade eight in the same location.
In order to attend the program, students must be fully toilet trained. This means they can use the restroom without any assistance from an adult. We will not be able to go into the restroom with them, nor are we able to help them clean themselves after they use the facilities.
Pre-Kindergarten students will be walked directly to their classrooms each morning by an adult or older student. If we walk your child into school, you will be charged for ESH.
An adult or older student will pick up Pre-Kindergartners from their classroom and escort them to ESH. Kindergarten students will be escorted to the sign in area in the school by an older student. No students walk to ESH without supervision.
