Jacob grew up in the downriver area of Michigan and graduated high school from Lincoln Park High School in 1995.
Jacob is inspired by his wife Nichole and son Mason. Mason is five and will be starting Kindergarten at OLL. He absolutely loves Literature and all things English! He wants to share his enthusiasm and love with our students so they too, can find themselves “traveling” to far away lands when they pick up a book. "Reading, writing, and language comprehension are the foundation of learning", says Jacob. Jacob loves teaching at a Catholic school becuase he doesn't have to censor topics surrounding the Bible, Christianity, and being a follower of Christ. Jacob states: "Teaching students at a Catholic school in a community setting provides an opportunity to integrate faith-based beliefs into the curriculum and daily activities. It allows for a supportive and nurturing environment where students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually".
Help us in welcoming Jacob as our newest High School English Teacher at Our Lady of the Lakes. Welcome Jacob!
