Dear Ms. Keith and Friends at Our Lady of the Lakes,

Thank you for teaming up with Gleaners Community Food Bank to host a food drive and participating in the Hunger Heroes School Challenge for the 2016-2017 school year. Through your school’s terrific efforts we received a total of 575 pounds of food. Your donation will provide approximately 477 meals to our neighbors in need! Please extend our thanks to all who participated.

Without advocates like you Gleaners would not be able to collect over 2.5 million pounds of food each year through food drives in our communities to distribute to our more than 510 partner agencies. Through your support, you are helping to connect hungry people with the food they need when and where they need it.

We hope to have you on board next year for the Hunger Heroes School Challenge! The winners of the monthly challenge, who will be featured on the Hunger Heroes School Webpage, will be announced at the beginning of next month.
