Michael Boyd Honorary Hall of Fame 2017 Inductees

Last month, in St. Joe’s Hall, an annual gathering of Laker greats took place. Over 60 Laker alumni, families, coaches, and friends joined together in inducting three new members, and two state championship teams into the Michael Boyd Honorary Hall of Fame. The night was a resounding success. The inductees included Murray Percival III 2003, Jenna Felice 1997, Ryan Ritter 1994 and the 2002-03 Football and Softball teams. Ryan Ritter (94)It was a night of memories, recounting stories of great plays, tremendous people, and a shared love of Our Lady of the Lakes athletics. Old trophies and banners were dusted off and displayed, and some were auctioned off so to preserve their memory in the homes of our great alumni. This was not the last chance to relive Laker glory. There will soon be a chance for alumni to take ownership of the remaining memorabilia online. While this year was a tremendous evening, next year stands to take its place as the greatest Laker event of all time.
