Reason for Nomination: Phoebe’s consistency, positivity, and determination at practices and games are huge assets to the team. She always seems to be smiling and willing to help others; giving advice or simply cheering them on.

Why you love Volleyball? I love playing and that I get to spend time with my friends.

Why do you think you were nominated? I try to stay positive and encourage my teammates to stay positive.  When we are all positive that impacts the attitude of the whole team on the court.

Position: Quarterback/Captain

Years in this sport: 7 years

Reason for Nomination: As an underclassman on the 7/8 team, William has shown determination in winning the starting QB role for the team, leadership in being named the first 7th grade captain in many seasons, and exemplifies and lives the Catholic mission as an involved student at OLL, regular Mass attendance, and a leader as a regular altar server.

What does it mean to you to be part of a team? Always work together

Why do you think you were nominated? Because I am a captain and I work hard

Student-Athletes who demonstrate Laker FAITH will be honored by our school each month. One student from each division will be nominated by coaches and selected by administration.

Fortitude – Standing strong in the face of difficult challenges, personal or otherwise. Fortitude is a physical or mental strength in the face of adversity.
