The Lakers Varsity boys basketball team was able to advance Wednesday evening with a 67-61 pre-district victory over the Novi Franklin Rd Christian Warriors. Trailing by two with 1:56 left in the first half the Lakers finished with a 7-0 run to take 35-30 lead into halftime.

In the second half the warriors it was a back and forth affair with the Lakers ultimately prevailing. Noah Robak led all scorers with 22 point and Grant Ross added 16 points for the Lakers.

The Boys will take on Oakland Christian Friday at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes in the District Finals.
