Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School is excited to announce the hire of Jeff Glynn as the next Head Varsity Football coach.
With over a decade of coaching under his belt, this 2007 OLL grad and Veteran of the US Coast Guard, brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion to the program.
“The first thing I noticed about Coach Glynn was his energy, and how excited he was to be back on campus”, said K-12 Director of Athletics and Assistant Principal Jared Kullman. “It was clear that OLL, its coaches, and its teachers, had a major and positive impact on his life. He is a true blue Laker through and through. Once we started talking football and the role of athletics in the lives of young people, it was obvious that he was the right choice.”
Coach Glynn comes to OLL after three years at the helm for Lamphere High School in Madison Heights. During his tenure, Lamphere secured a league title, the first in 7 years, and a playoff appearance, also the first in 7 years. The Rams were undefeated in league play during this season and Glynn was awarded coach of the year honors. His previous stops include Ypsilanti, Lake Orion, Pellston, Sault Ste. Marie and Waterford Mott.

Coach Glynn had this to say, “From the moment I first became a Laker back in 2003, I knew that this was home. I’m humbled to hold a title that has been held by only 5 other men in the storied history of Laker Football. My goal is to build a program of champions, on and off the field. My family and I are extremely excited to come home.”
Coach has an 8 year old daughter Miya, who will attend OLL in the fall, and is engaged to another former Laker, Liz Blaszkiewicz.
